  • Timekeeping support: Assist with timecard management and payroll data validation for field-based hourly employees.
  • Payroll systems and process improvement: Support BambooHR Payroll administration, maintain accurate payroll records, and identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Employee and manager support: Respond to payroll-related questions in both English and Spanish, investigate issues, and provide clear guidance to employees and managers.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work with relevant internal teams to maintain consistent payroll operations across a geographically distributed workforce and multiple business entities.
Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers in both languages.
  • Experience processing payroll across multiple employer identification numbers (EINs), legal entities, and payroll schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll compliance requirements, including wage and hour regulations.
  • California payroll experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience administering complex payroll components, including commissions, bonuses, draws, deductions, reimbursements, and paid time off accruals.

  • Experience supporting payroll integrations, acquisitions, system conversions, or transitions is highly preferred.
  • Experience in construction, field-based workforces, or multi-location organizations is an advantage.
  • Ability to work remotely with a professional home office, reliable high-speed internet, and effective participation in video meetings and digital communication systems.
  • Availability to coordinate with teams operating across Mountain, Pacific, and Central time zones.
