Job Summary

Oversees and manages high-profile, complex operational projects within the business unit from development through execution, ensuring critical project milestones are delivered to meet the operating needs and strategic plan of the Out of Network department. Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, ITPMA, and Account Management, managing projects end-to-end, monitoring performance, and reporting on outcomes. Manages multiple projects with the goal of creating synergy between them.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

1. Serve as a senior Operations Project Manager. Create detailed project plans for large cross-functional projects, outlining tasks and dependencies. Ensure scope, requirements, and system functionality support efficient processes and workflows.
2. Understand department processes and workflows. Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and incorporate them into project plans.
3. Track progress and communicate proactively. Inform stakeholders of changes and impacts related to scope, resources, timelines, and costs. Ensure teams are prepared and all stakeholders are updated.
4. Maintain accurate documentation. Keep records of project status, plans, timelines, workflows, and decisions. Take detailed meeting notes and draft recaps.
5. Facilitate stakeholder meetings and escalate issues. Ensure proper task prioritization and deliver status reports regularly.
6. Ensure alignment and coordination. Act as the primary contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring documentation, timelines, and deliverables are on track.
7. Monitor project progress. Ensure deadlines are met and balance business needs with technical considerations.
8. Drive operational excellence. Assist leadership in improving project management processes and efficiency.
9. Analyze and improve processes. Recommend evidence-based improvements to reduce friction and increase efficiency.
10. Apply critical thinking and ensure flawless execution. Consider impacts across all business areas.
11. Represent Operations. Be the voice for enterprise initiatives across functions.
12. Delegate tasks. Assign responsibilities to team members best suited for each task.
13. Collaborate and communicate effectively. Work across disciplines and departments.
14. Ensure compliance. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
15. Demonstrate commitment. Uphold the company's core values.
16. Other duties as assigned.

Job Scope

The incumbent works independently, using judgment to address issues and evaluate results on large, complex projects. They collaborate with internal and external sources, prioritizing customer needs, and may mentor less experienced team members.

Compensation

The salary range is $85K-$110K, based on education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunities.
