JOB SUMMARY

Oversees and manages high profile, complex operational projects within the business unit from development through execution ensuring critical project milestones are delivered to meet the operating needs and strategic plan of the Out of Network department. Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including Operations, IT, ITPMA, and Account Management, managing projects end-to-end, monitoring performance and reporting outcomes. Manage multiple projects to obtain synergy.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

1. Serve as a senior Operations Project Manager. Create detailed project plans, outline tasks and dependencies, and ensure scope, requirements, and system functionality support efficient processes.
2. Understand department processes and workflows to ensure project success. Collaborate with business units to incorporate their requirements into project plans.
3. Track progress, communicate impacts of changes, and ensure stakeholders are informed and teams are prepared.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of project status, including plans, timelines, and workflows. Draft meeting notes and recaps.
5. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, escalate roadblocks, and ensure proper prioritization. Provide regular status updates and analysis.
6. Ensure alignment and coordination across teams, manage deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
7. Monitor project deadlines and balance business needs with technical considerations.
8. Drive results and operational excellence within the business unit and company.
9. Partner with leadership to improve project management processes and recommend improvements based on evidence.
10. Apply critical thinking and ensure flawless project execution, considering impacts across the business.
11. Represent Operations for enterprise initiatives and delegate tasks appropriately.
12. Collaborate across departments, ensure compliance with HIPAA, and demonstrate commitment to company values.

JOB SCOPE

Works independently to identify issues, recommend actions, and evaluate results on large, complex projects. Uses extensive experience and broad knowledge, acting as a mentor as needed.

Compensation

The salary range is $85K-$110K, based on education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Includes health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' project management experience, preferably in fast-paced environments. Graduate degree is a plus.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry workflows and project methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and technical skills.
• Leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Project & Project Server.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and develop strong management relationships.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment with standard equipment.
