Job description

Role & Responsibilities

Handling meetings with B2B clients & architects.

  • Reporting to the Area Manager/Regional Manager.

The contribution involves generating new leads through architects/B2B clients and converting them into orders.

  • Generating sales opportunities and converting them into orders.

Should have sufficient knowledge about competitors in the market.

Managing architects & key accounts.

  • Generating project inquiries with architect support and builder meetings.

Developing architect relationships for the long term and expanding B2B sales in the area.

  • Achieving sales targets assigned for the region and growing B2B segments.

Coordinating with sales team members as required.

  • Maintaining good coordination with key persons for closing prospective B2B clients.

Quantitative:

  • Enquiry generation & achieving targets within specified time frame.
  • Conducting regular architect and B2B meetings.
  • Organizing at least 2 marketing activities per month.

Qualitative:

  • Closing deals at healthy margins.
  • Closing deals on safe payment terms.
  • Achieving productive B2B meeting targets.

Job Effectiveness:

  • Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in the building materials industry, with experience working with architects, developers, and government departments.
  • Coverage area includes Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, and Kadapa.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Telugu.
  • Skills in decision making, communication, presentation, negotiation, and computer proficiency.
  • Willing to travel to potential areas for site meetings and field mapping.
  • Excellent account management skills, teamwork, and result-oriented attitude.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience with any building material (except paint and cement) is acceptable. Must have experience working with builders, contractors, owners, and architects.
