Job summary

Themis Insight seeks a Sr. Network Engineer (Cisco/VMware NSX/SDN) to join our Fort Meade, MD team. This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and strong experience in design, implementation, and maintenance of complex networks.

Responsibilities include network architecture, device configuration, and project leadership while ensuring adherence to DoD/IC regulations. The ideal candidate will have Cisco certification, VMware NSX data-center experience, and SDN knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; Bachelor’s with 2 years additional network engineering experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Perform network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of large networks.
• Analyze design, specifications, and related documents to support network modernization.
• Configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditations; resolve incidents across sites.
• Design, deploy, test, and maintain network devices, interfaces, and methodologies.
• Implement network solutions including VPNs, firewalls, NAT, QoS, and IPsec.
• Lead large installation projects and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC regulations and ISO 9000 requirements.
