Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a Senior NSX Engineer to design, implement, operate, secure, and troubleshoot VMware NSX-based network virtualization for a DoW environment in Virginia. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph and 5+ years of NSX and vSphere experience, plus strong automation and documentation skills.

You will own the full NSX lifecycle from architecture through security hardening, upgrades, and Tier 3 incident resolution in a mission-critical federal

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 5+ years NSX experience in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years vSphere experience including ESXi, vCenter, VDS.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate NSX-T / VCF networking across environments.
• Configure NSX Manager, transport zones, and edges.
• Implement microsegmentation and security policies.
• Lead upgrades, backups, and lifecycle management.
• Produce runbooks and documentation.
