The Sr. Team Leader of Sales – Walmart and Sam’s Club is a key leadership role within Mission Foods, responsible for customer management, strategic planning, and profitable growth of the business. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role involves developing strategies for success, delivering sales and margin growth, and managing customer relationships. The position provides leadership to a team of two and oversees the NW Arkansas office.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving financial objectives such as sales, profitability, and market share.
  2. Building and maintaining strategic customer relationships through joint planning and executive engagement.
  3. Leading cross-functional teams to meet company goals.
  4. Supporting corporate planning, analysis, and budgeting, including 1-3 year sales planning.
  5. Implementing strategic merchandising and store initiatives.
  6. Preparing and delivering account presentations using various data sources.
  7. Identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
  8. Managing promotional plans and analyzing their effectiveness.
  9. Monitoring market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
  10. Fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
  11. Travel approximately 30% of the time.
  12. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of consumer product sales experience, including national headquarters and broker management experience. HQ Walmart/Sam’s Club experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and strategic development skills.
  • P&L management and data-driven decision-making proficiency.
  • Customer relationship management and influence skills.
  • Ability to drive growth and adapt to changing priorities.
