Our Hu and Enjoy Life brands within Mondelēz International are seeking a chocolate-loving Sales leader to drive growth in the conventional grocery – West channel for Hu Products. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the CPG sales process in large conventional grocery accounts, especially Albertson’s, and existing relationships with key decision makers, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. This position reports to the Sr. National Account Manager – Mass and is remote.

How You Will Contribute

  • Develop sales strategies with the Sr. National Account Manager to penetrate West Conventional grocery customers.
  • Execute channel strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify, engage, and open new channels and accounts, focusing on segments such as Albertson’s, Safeway, HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer.
  • Optimize relationships with partners for category opportunities—pricing, promotions, POS, in-store campaigns, SKU mix, shelf placement.
  • Partner with trade and marketing teams to support account growth.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage promotional and trade spend initiatives with the Trade Marketing and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Leverage brokers & distributors to support channels aligned with Hu’s mission and values.
  • Propose product line adaptations based on trade feedback and competitive analysis.

What You Will Bring

If you're an entrepreneurial sales superstar with a love of chocolate, Hu wants you on their team.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of work experience.
  • At least 3 years managing Albertson’s; experience with HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the grocery channel landscape at all levels.
  • Proven success as a top-performing CPG salesperson and team leader.
  • Experience developing impactful selling strategies.
  • Strong partnership skills with brokers and merchandising teams.
  • Experience managing distributor relationships (UNFI, KeHe).
  • Strong negotiation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a growth mindset.

The salary range is $117,400 to $161,425, plus participation in a competitive bonus program. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, education programs, holidays, and vacation. No relocation support is available.
