Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Mortgage TPO Partner Support Specialist in Hillsboro, OR for a hybrid role. You will serve as a client-focused expert throughout the loan process, explaining programs, negotiating terms, and coordinating with Mortgage Operations to keep workflows flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mortgage loan administration with TPO experience, strong TRID knowledge, and proficiency in Encompass and TPO Connect.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in mortgage loan administration; including a minimum of two years’ TPO experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Proven ability to meet client expectations and requirements.
• Strong knowledge of TRID regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and loan operations software (Encompass & TPO Connect).
• Education: High School diploma; Licensure: NMLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with federal, state and credit union rules and regulations.
• Actively prospect for new broker clients through existing relationships, industry partners, social media and events.
• Assist clients with systems issues, underwriting questions and pricing questions.
• Monitor volume pipeline to ensure monthly goals are achieved.

The Senior Mortgage TPO Partner Support Specialist supports the Account Managers in ensuring the comprehensive and accurate submission of loan files and related documentation to Mortgage Operations, optimizing file flow.

Here’s what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

What You’ll Do

• Act as a contact and subject matter expert for clients during the entire loan process, obtaining required documentation including financial information to evaluate loan applications and their risk, providing ongoing client updates
• Work directly with clients to explain loan programs and negotiate mortgage loan terms
• Partner with Mortgage Operations to assure timely responses and communications to and from the member and broker
• Maintain expert product and procedure knowledge and consult with clients to ensure real estate products meet individual client needs
• Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners (i.e. assigned branch staff, underwriters, etc.) for the purpose of strengthening interdepartmental relationships and attracting new clients
• Maintain compliance within federal, state and credit union rules and regulations
• Actively prospect for new broker clients through existing relationships, industry partners, social media and industry networking events
• Assist clients with any systems issues, underwriting questions and pricing questions
• Monitor volume pipeline to ensure monthly goals are achieved

Essential Skills

• Minimum five years’ experience in mortgage loan administration; including a minimum of two years’ TPO experience
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines and SLAs
• Exceptional ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with all levels within organization
• Proven skills and commitment in meeting or exceeding client expectations and requirements
• Ability to apply logic to situations and make common-sense analysis of a credit package
• Strong knowledge of TRID
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of loan operations software (i.e. Encompass & TPO Connect)
• Minimum Education: High School diploma
• Certification/License: Ability to be NMLS certified

Target Compensation

$30.75 to $34.00 hourly + monthly commissions
