The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality production. The individual in this role applies expertise in manufacturing methods and related technical disciplines to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement. Working independently, this individual plans, designs, and enhances processes by leveraging knowledge of product design, materials, tooling, equipment, assembly practices, and quality standards. They analyze workforce use, space needs, and process flow to create optimized layouts that improve throughput and reduce waste. The role also defines required equipment, tools, and processes and may lead project steps while supporting less experienced colleagues.
