Job summary

Evident Inspection Technologies, a division of Wabtec, seeks an experienced mechanical designer to develop ultrasound transducers for test and measurement applications. You will lead mechanical concepts, validate designs, and collaborate with system architects to meet performance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of design experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks Suite.
• Knowledge of ultrasound test and measurement applications is a plus.
• Machining and prototyping experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and monitor development work on projects.

Responsibilities

• Define mechanical design of transducers and their manufacturing.
• Manage technical risks and ensure production cost objectives are met.
• Define validation protocols for mechanical components.
• Assist planning for transfer to production and update manufacturing documents.
