Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Senior Marketing Proposal Coordinator to lead and coordinate proposal efforts across the nationwide Marketing & Proposals team, focusing on Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.

You will develop qualifications, write and edit proposals, manage materials, and collaborate with subject-matter experts to deliver compelling presentations. This role in-person in Boise or Salt Lake City, with travel as needed and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the AEC or professional services fields.
• Strong writing and copyediting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to client locations.
• In-person office presence in Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal outline preparation and drive proposal kick-off discussions.
• Develop qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials in support of Apex’s initiatives.
• Assist with writing, cataloging, and updating project materials such as resumes and client references.
• Produce proposals in person as needed from Boise or Salt Lake City.
• Travel to client locations to deliver proposals, as needed.
• Support events and trade shows.
• Proofread, ensure aesthetics, and perform compliance reviews of marketing materials.
• Update CRM and related databases.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Marketing Proposal Coordinator:

• Work independently in the Apex office in Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT, in close collaboration with our nationwide Marketing & Proposals team, in pursuit of new work, with an emphasis onprojects in Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.
• Assistwith the retrieval and tracking of requests for proposals/qualifications andhelp withgo/no-go discussions
• Lead proposal outline preparation and drive proposal kick-off discussions
• Develop compelling firm qualifications, proposals, and presentation materialsin support of Apex’s business initiatives. Includeslayout, writing, and coordination.
• Assistwith the writing, cataloging, and updating of projectmaterials, such asprofiles, team resumes, and client references.
• Produce proposals in person, as needed, from Boise or Salt Lake City.
• Travel to client locations to deliver proposals,as needed.
• Supportspecialeventsand trade shows,on occasion.
• Performtasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.
• Update theclientrelationship management (CRM) systemand related databases.
• Fulfill otherMarketingtasks as needed.

What we're looking for:

• Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a marketer in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry or other professional services fields.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent writing and copyediting capabilities
• Strong communications skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles
• Highly motivated, willing to be part of our Apex team and enhance our marketing efforts
• Ability towork in person in theApex office inBoise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT, and travel for related Marketing tasks, such as proposal delivery, on occasion.
• Valid driver's license, safe drivinghistoryand reliable transportation.
