  4. Assist in selecting, purchasing, and installing new multi-million-dollar equipment.
  5. Collaborate with engineering during new product design to ensure manufacturability.
  6. Implement ergonomic strategies to promote a safe, employee-friendly environment.
  7. Work with R&D to design test stands and fixtures, and specify new machines and processes.
  8. Create and maintain documentation such as tool drawings, fixtures, gauging, design concepts, and shop orders.
  9. Coordinate with suppliers to develop manufacturing processes meeting standards and specifications.
  10. Participate in developing processes, tooling, fixtures, setups, and CNC programs.
  11. Conduct time studies to develop manufacturing time requirements and cost data.
  12. Develop work instructions for current and new manufacturing techniques.
  13. Support production by performing root cause analysis and resolving NCRs.
  14. Implement engineering change orders into manufacturing processes.
  15. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturing policies and regulations.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field; or 5-8 years of experience programming 4 & 5 axis CNC machines and hands-on manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with 4 & 5 axis CNC machining centers and lathes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of manufacturing teams.
