Anywhere Real Estate is on the hunt for a dynamic and driven individual to join our Strategy Office. This pivotal role is all about spearheading strategic initiatives and transforming our enterprise to enhance the real estate experience for our agents, consumers, and employees. Reporting up to Anywhere Real Estate’s VP of Strategy & Competitive Intelligence, this high-profile position offers exposure across all functions and business units, with the potential to grow into operating roles within the company. You'll work closely with our executive team and corporate leaders, leading strategic thinking, development, and cross-functional teams as a 'SWAT team' on prioritized projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive corporate strategy and transformation initiatives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Leadership: Lead transformation projects, including process optimization, technology integration, and organizational restructuring.
- Workshops & Training: Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build strategy and transformation capabilities within the organization.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Communication: Collaborate with the communications team to package and communicate the company’s strategy to employees.
- Project Management: Perform a combined role of project leader and project manager, overseeing projects and ensuring timely execution.
- Business Cases: Establish business cases, project workplans, and cross-functional teams for assigned initiatives.
- Lifecycle Support: Support decisions to expand, contract, pivot, or cancel initiatives during the full project lifecycle.
- KPI Establishment: Support strategy development, initiative identification and prioritization, and establishment of project KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in strategy development, corporate transformation, or management consulting.
- Skill: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven experience in leading large-scale transformation projects.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in strategy development, corporate transformation, and change management.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Leadership: Proven strategic thinking, team leadership, and project management skills.
- Mindset: Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate well under ambiguity.
- Matrixed Environment: Experience excelling in a highly matrixed environment and working across multiple business units.
