Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC is seeking a senior Process Safety leader to develop and drive a corporate-wide strategy, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations across multiple facilities. You will conduct hazard analyses, audits, and training, while supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in EH&S, engineering, or science.
• 7+ years of direct Process Safety Management experience in multi-site environments.
• 12+ years in process operations or safety in industrial settings.
• 5+ years technical expertise in refrigeration systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in PSM and OSHA/EPA programs with data analysis and RCA.
• Must be willing to travel and reside near Dallas-Fort Worth area.

What You\'ll Do

You will lead the development and implementation of a corporate-wide Process Safety strategy and ensure compliance with federal Process Safety Management and Risk Management regulations. You will organize and conduct audits, hazard analyses, and emergency response planning, while supporting facilities in incident investigations and corrective actions. Occasional travel may be required for business needs.

This is a remote position with approximately 40% travel. Candidates must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metropolitan area to effectively support business needs and travel requirements.

Essential Functions

• Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate Process Safety strategy and ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities.
• Organize and lead Process Hazard Analyses and Compliance Audits to identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide support and training to site personnel on maintaining Process Safety programs and emergency response plans.
• Serve as the primary resource for process safety regulations and standards, supporting facilities during audits and inspections.
• Oversee the Management of Change process and coordinate capital expenditure requirements related to audit findings.
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive actions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and communication of best practices and lessons learned between facilities.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.

What Experience and Education You Need

• Bachelor\'s degree in environmental health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years direct Process Safety Management experience in multi-site environments.
• Minimum 12 years of process operations or process safety experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Minimum 5 years of technical expertise in refrigeration systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in Process Safety Management through implementation of OSHA 29 CFR 1912.129 and EPA 40 CFR Part 68 programs, including documented experience in safety program leadership and proficiency in data analysis and root cause analysis using specific software tools.

Physical Requirements
