Location:

Remote (Goleta, CA or Portland, OR preferred). Applicants must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington.

The Role

The Senior Manager of Quality Operations acts as a key contact for product quality across all Deckers brands, products, and markets. This role is part of the newly created Global Quality Operations team, focusing on initiatives that maintain and elevate product quality during the company's next growth phase.

Responsibilities include developing tools, processes, and KPIs to improve quality issue management, consumer performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, integrating consumer feedback into quality strategies to enhance brand trust and product excellence.

While part of Global Quality Operations, this role also contributes to a unified global quality organization, balancing product excellence with manufacturing efficiencies to meet consumer needs. It is ideal for a strategic, data-driven leader who enjoys building innovative solutions to improve product quality and consumer satisfaction.

Your Impact
  • Quality Issue Management: Develop and implement tools and processes for tracking and resolving product quality issues; partner with teams for effective communication and accountability; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Performance Measurement and KPI Development: Define consumer-centric quality KPIs; establish dashboards and reporting frameworks; provide insights to leadership to drive quality improvements.
  • Consumer-Centric Quality Advocacy: Capture and analyze consumer sentiment; translate insights into quality improvements; amplify the consumer voice within the organization.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify inefficiencies; leverage data analytics and digital tools; foster a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster teamwork within Global Quality; provide insights on trends and risks; promote a high-performance, data-driven quality culture.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Data Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years in Quality Operations, Product Integrity, or Manufacturing within footwear, apparel, accessories, or home industries.
  • Expertise in quality management systems, issue resolution, and KPI development.
  • Proven ability to leverage consumer insights for quality improvements.
  • Understanding of global compliance and audit processes.
  • Experience with data analytics, digital tools, and process automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience with global supply chains and manufacturing partners.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, global environments with competing priorities.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $170,000. Actual salary depends on location, skills, experience, and education. Recruiters will discuss specifics during hiring.
