Alcon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Quality Control Lab - Analytical Science & Technology (AS&T) for its Fort Worth, TX site. This role leads QC analytics, ensures cGxP compliance, and collaborates with production, engineering and QA to integrate lab results into manufacturing processes.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, strong leadership, and rigorous documentation to support product validation, release, and regulatory adherence. Onsite work with a 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• Fluent reading/writing/comprehension of English required
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Location: Onsite-Fort Worth, Texas
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm
• Travel: 0–10%

Responsibilities

• Oversee analytical chemistry and microbiology services to support validation, release, and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize QC processes to ensure cGxP compliance and SOP adherence.

• Drive innovation via scientific principles and maintain thorough documentation for GxP.

The Sr. Manager, Quality Control Lab - Analytical Science & Technology (AS&T) (Management Path), is primarily responsible for defining site strategy and ensuring consistent implementation of AS&T, compliance with analytical methods, and quality systems.
