Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience; English fluency required.
  • Location: Onsite-Fort Worth
  • Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex tasks and contribute to advanced projects in the Quality Control Lab - Chemistry.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses and assist in developing analytical methods.
  • Ensure compliance with SOP and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to cGxP and SOPs.
  • Manage chemistry lab services and make significant decisions within project areas, influencing outcomes.
  • Support lab operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance.
  • Integrate lab results into the manufacturing process, driving problem-solving and innovation.
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Ensure rigorous quality control, complete all required training, and meet individual job requirements while contributing to organizational compliance.
  • Commit to continuous improvement in operations.

This role is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team that ensures our products are in compliance with global, local, and internal regulations and meet the strictest standards of quality as we help people see brilliantly. The Associate II, Quality Control Lab - Chemistry (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in the Quality Control Lab, conducting chemical analyses, and developing methods while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and regulatory requirements.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Handle complex tasks and contribute to advanced projects in the Quality Control Lab - Chemistry

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs) The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Location: Onsite-Fort Worth - ASPEX
  • Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00AM -5:00PM
  • Travel Requirements: N/A
