Job summary

Alcon in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Sr. Associate, Manufacturing Operations Management to support efficient production operations and drive continuous improvement.

The role covers multiple manufacturing areas within a single plant, coordinating teams across Production Engineering, Mold & Die, and Operations. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s or equivalent, strong English communication, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, working on-site from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs).
• The ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English fluently.
• 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Responsibilities

• Support production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with resource management and labor optimization.
• Maintain documentation and ensure quality control per SOPs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams in Production Engineering, Mold/Tool & Die, and Operations.
• Ensure adherence to GxP regulations and participate in training.

The Sr. Associate, Manufacturing Operations Management (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for supporting efficient production operations, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and assisting with resource management across multiple manufacturing areas within a single plant.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Perform specialized technical tasks to support teams and processes in areas like Production Engineering, Manufacturing Process Development, Mold, Tool & Die/Model Making, Production Operations, Production Planning/Control, and Manufacturing Materials Supply
• Ensure alignment with business objectives and drive operational excellence by contributing to a well-trained, optimized labor workforce
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality control
• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements, contributing to the overall compliance of the organization and committing to continuous improvement
• Responsible for managing/coordinating teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas within a single plant including Production Engineering/Production Process Development, Mold, Tool & Die/Model Making/Set Up
• Maintain well trained optimized labor workforce
• Operational Excellence Production Operations (i.e. assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, packaging, etc.)
