Job summary

Takeda seeks a Sr. Manager, Promotional Review Team in Lexington, MA to lead a team of Analysts and serve as a strategic liaison across Commercial, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to facilitate the PRT and align it with commercial priorities.

You will coach 8 Analysts, coordinate cross-functional reviews, drive quarterly business reviews, and implement process improvements while maintaining Sunshine Act compliance and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in pharma with regulatory promotional review experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with Marketing, Medical, Legal and Regulatory.

About the role: Join as Sr. Manager, Promotional Review Team. Lead a team of 8 Analysts as a strategic liaison across Commercial, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to facilitate Takeda’s advertising and promotional material review process (PRT) and align PRT with commercial strategies/priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach PRT Ops Analysts; remove barriers to success.
• Partner with senior leadership to integrate PRT operations with Agile Marketing Delivery.
• Coordinate PRT review meetings/activities for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Plan and execute quarterly business reviews; track progress and identify improvements.
• Manage review track assignments and PRT hours to match evolving business priorities.
• Partner with brand teams to anticipate advertising/promotional needs for review/approval.
• Build trusted relationships; influence collaborative decisions.
• Identify and implement PRT process improvements.

Accountabilities (by function)

• Team Management: understand commercial strategy; handle administrative workstreams; manage high-priority items; communicate progress; participate in Marketing Services meetings.
• Process: maintain PRT/SOP/policy expertise; support Veeva Vault routing/approvals/marketing tool production; assess and update submission standards; deliver training; share PRT metrics; recommend process innovations.
• Stakeholder Management: guide Commercial/Medical/Legal/Regulatory review; build common ground; provide customer service; train partners; elevate issues as needed.

Compensation and benefits (Lexington, MA)

• Base salary range: $137,000–$215,270
