Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an SDS Processes & Role-Based Tool Senior Manager 3 to lead the division's engineering process strategy from Roy, UT. The role demands governance, analytics, and cross-functional leadership across SMEs to standardize processes and ensure compliance.

The position offers relocation assistance, a 9/80 work schedule, and the potential for bonuses and long-term incentives, with a comprehensive benefits package and DoD clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (or related field) and extensive aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Master’s Degree with 6+ years in related field preferred.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall strategy for driving technical rigor, process standardization, and compliance throughout division engineering organization.
• Lead strategy and roadmap development of the Model-Based Processes and Role Based Ecosystem.
• Be a leader of leaders of multi-discipline, process SMEs.
• Lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining the division’s Engineering Model-Based Processes using Nimbus.
• Lead the development and strategy for the division’s Role Based Ecosystem (RBE) and competency model.
• Lead the SME team enabling division PrOP / engineering process publications.
• Develop technical skills competency model for Engineering Homeroom and align with OCE for SAP integration.
• Develop metrics on Process Efficacy, Role-Based Ecosystem, PrOP, Competency Model, and Model-Based Processes.
• Forge partnerships across stakeholders to coordinate homeroom initiatives.
• Primary focal to process stakeholders for audit support (Mission Assurance / Quality Assurance).
• Primary focal to Sector and Enterprise for Role Based Tool scaling and Process strategy.
