The result is progress, both for the company and for the people building their careers here. If you are values-driven and share our beliefs, if you are willing to hold yourself and others accountable to the highest standards, then Trex is a place you can call home.

  • Prioritize and focus efforts on the largest/most critical loss reduction opportunities.
  • Develop and implement plans to eliminate or reduce losses through root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to facilitate solution implementation.
  • Lead risk management initiatives to achieve strategic objectives in environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality, and production.
  • Utilize tools such as preliminary hazard analysis, failure modes and effects analysis, criticality analysis, maintainability information, fault tree analysis, and event tree analysis.

Life Cycle Asset Management

  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure the reliability and sustainability of new and modified installations.
  • Adhere to the life cycle asset management (LCAM) process throughout the entire life cycle of new assets.
  • Participate in the development of design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and acceptance tests.
  • Evaluate equipment, technical MRO suppliers, and technical maintenance service providers.
  • Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset maintenance plan that includes:
    • Value-added preventive maintenance tasks.
    • Effective utilization of predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies.
    • Input to a risk management plan anticipating reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks.
    • Engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other operational issues using data analysis techniques such as statistical process control and reliability modeling.

Asset Analysis and Technical Support

  • Collaborate with Production to analyze assets, including asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, and other parameters defining operating conditions, reliability, and costs.
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technical personnel.
  • Apply value analysis to repair/replace, repair/redesign, and make/buy decisions.
