We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager at our Anaheim facility.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Manager directs and manages all activities associated with the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Plant Manager and is a key partner of the production organization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively manages maintenance operations across the site to achieve business plan goals. This responsibility includes all facilities, equipment and processes.
• Develops an action plan to monitor and influence the performance of the site toward established goals. Communicates the results of this plan as required .
• Develops annual maintenance budget, scope and justification for maintenance and applicable projects and manages to these plans.
• Manages maintenance planning and preventative maintenance activities assuring maximum equipment reliability, uptime and efficiency.
• Maintains compliance to Quality Management and ISO standards as it relates to calibrations, preventative maintenance, and documentation of work.
• Provides coaching and training for all maintenance employees. Training emphasis should be in techniques to maximize operational effectiveness and responsiveness to production needs.
• Provides direction by regularly advising the Site Leadership Team with information on equipment improvement opportunities, resource requirements, and general maintenance “organizational health ”.
• The Maintenance Manager takes a leadership role in driving continuous improvement throughout the organization, particularly in Maintenance.
• Collaborates with the Leadership Teams to develop effective maintenance processes in support of new and current equipment.
• Develops and leads continuous improvement strategies within the Maintenance Department.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
  
  

Essential Qualifications

Education /Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or successful completion from a vocational school.
• 5+ years' experience in maintenance management role
• Experience managing ERP-based or similar maintenance ticketing system
• Deep knowledge of engineering and mechanical concepts and strong time management and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or other (applicable) technical discipline
• 10+ years' experience in maintenance management role
• Experience wit h SAP ERP systems
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Employee is required to stand, bend, kneel, walk, sit, balance, handle or feel objects; tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work safely with materials and equipment.
• Various levels of gowning are required .
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.

• Works in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work safely with materials and equipment.
• Various levels of gowning are required .
• Hearing protection recommended.
• Hair, beard nets and smocks required . Gloves ARE required for all products or functions. Except for products involving tape.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment (moving parts, cutters etc.).
• Exposure to odors associated with manufacturing.
