Job summary

Veradigm seeks a Sr. Manager to lead the Interoperability Center of Excellence, a new capability owning the full lifecycle of interface services across Veradigm EHR and practice management platforms.

You will build and operate a regional delivery team focused on lab orders, public health reporting, HIE/TEFCA connectivity, and custom client integrations. This leader provides SME authority on HL7 v2 and FHIR R4, drives commercial models through the Integrator Program, and partners with product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical/business experience - Required
• Master's Degree or equivalent technical/business experience - Preferred
• 12+ years of healthcare technology, integration services, or professional services experience - Required
• 10+ years implementing healthcare tech with HL7 v2, FHIR R4, and clinical data exchange - Required
• Excellent client-facing skills with executives on complex topics - Required
• Experience with third-party vendor relationships, including SLAs and contracts - Required
• Budgeting, cost management, and business case development experience - Required
• Proven ability to build and scale a new team or practice - Preferred
• Knowledge of TEFCA, QHIN, CareQuality, and interoperability market dynamics - Preferred
• 7+ years in professional services consultancy and/or project management in healthcare - Required

Responsibilities

• Builds and leads the Interoperability Center of Excellence from formation to operational maturity.
• Owns full interface services lifecycle across all Veradigm platforms.
• Directs a Forward Development Team for custom integrations and AI-powered delivery acceleration.
• Leads the Integrator Program and third-party partner relationships.
• Partners with sales to embed Interface Sales Engineers in pre-sales conversations.
• Monitors SLA compliance and delivery metrics (5–60–90 days targets, 99.5% uptime).
• Develops and executes an operational-commercial roadmap aligned to strategic plans.
• Acts as escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders on interoperability issues.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, ONC blocking rules, CMS considerations, TEFCA standards.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to advance commercial model, product roadmap, and market activation.
