• Certifications: ATAP CTM, ASIS PSP/CPP or equivalent, or ability to obtain within one year
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, team leadership, and communication skills
• Deep knowledge of Corporate Security and Executive Protection through education and substantial experience
• Emotional maturity, tact, and professionalism handling sensitive security matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Your Role

The Corporate Security team is responsible for the safety and security of Blue Shield of California employees, visitors, and property including oversight of all elements of the Executive Protection, safeguarding facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property. The Executive Protection role at the Senior Manager level will report to the Senior Director, Security Intelligence. In this role you will operate as a senior technical authority responsible for ensuring that all security programs are strategically designed, integrated, and optimized within the broader enterprise eco system.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Required a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; preferred fields are Security Management, Business, or Criminal Justice
• Requires a minimum of 10 years working in corporate security and workplace / employee safety with at least 5 of those years in a managerial role
• At least 7 years of experience in Executive Protection, Law Enforcement, Physical Security Management or Project Management
• Preferred professional certifications: ATAP CTM, ASIS PSP, ASIS CPP, or equivalent credentials, or ability to obtain within one year
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, team leadership, and communication skills
• Deep knowledge of Corporate Security and Executive Protection typically acquired through advanced education and substantial experience
• Emotional maturity, tact, and professionalism required in handling sensitive security matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
