Vitalant in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist Trainer to mentor and support our Transfusion Services division. You will lead new hire trainings, track competency, and drive the Medical Lab Generalist and Scientist curricula in a regulated, mission-driven environment.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Science or MLS certification, MLS certification within 6 months, 2+ years in a clinical lab, and leadership or lead/charge experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Lab Science or MLS certification.
• MLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• 2+ years in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Lead/charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor new employees.
