Job summary

Vitalant is hiring experienced Medical Laboratory Scientists to support high-complexity testing and blood component processing in our California laboratories. This role requires the ability to work in a regulated environment and a commitment to our mission-driven team.

We offer a pay rate of $45.00–$48.00 per hour DOE, plus an 8% weekend shift differential, and comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) with 5% company match, tuition assistance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• CA licensure as required by regulations; ASCP Certification Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform production, processing, and labeling of blood components and blood donations.
• Review and report test results, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
• Receive coaching and support from managers invested in your career and success.

Education

Bachelor's degree in biology/ Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent

CA licensure required; ASCP Certification Preferred
