Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Sr Manager, Authorizations to lead daily prior authorization operations across the organization. You will manage a team, hire staff, and build staffing models to meet demand for authorizations while protecting practice financial health.

You will design workflows, analyze denial root causes with the AR team, and deliver role‑based training programs for staff and vendor partners to reduce revenue leakage and improve patient access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RCM operations.
• 3+ years in leading teams.
• Deep understanding of the prior authorization process and payer medical necessity guidelines.
• Experience leading global teams and vendor partners.
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare compliance.
• Experience designing and delivering role‑based training programs for staff.
• Ability to define, track, and interpret operational and revenue cycle metrics.

This role oversees the collaboration between all RCM authorization team members, authorization vendor partners, practice staff and operational leadership to obtain authorizations for patient services in a timely and accurate fashion.
