Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Sr Manager, Authorizations to lead the daily prior authorization operations across the practice. You will manage a diverse team, coordinating with vendor partners and clinical staff to secure timely authorizations and protect revenue.

In this remote role, you will design scalable workflows, train staff and partner teams, and drive process improvements with a focus on payer guidelines and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare or business.
• 5+ years of experience in RCM operations.
• 3+ years in leading teams managing cross-functional functions.
• Deep understanding of prior authorization processes and payer guidelines.
• Experience with vendor partnerships and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily prior authorization operations and team performance.
• Develop and maintain sustainable workflows to minimize revenue leakage.
• Hire, train, and manage staff and vendor partners.
• Set service expectations with vendors and practice stakeholders.
• Manage denials and escalations to ensure timely patient care.
• Collaborate with AR, clinical, and operations teams to improve processes.
• Deliver training on new workflows and system updates.
