Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Sr Manager, Authorizations to lead the daily prior authorization operations across our clinical teams. You will drive workflow design, staffing models, and vendor partnerships to protect the practice's financial health while ensuring timely patient care.

In this role, you will mentor staff, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with clinical and AR teams to reduce denials and revenue leakage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RCM operations.
• 3+ years in leading teams.
• Deep understanding of prior authorization process and payer guidelines.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily prior authorization operations and team performance.
• Hire and develop team members; maintain staffing models.
• Create standard workflows for obtaining prior authorizations.
• Oversee denials, escalations, and communication to reduce revenue leakage.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training for staff and vendor partners.
• Align clinical and authorization workflows; partner with AR to analyze denials and implement fixes.
