Tyson Foods in Sebree, KY is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift. You will plan and supervise maintenance to keep equipment running cost-effectively and safely, coordinate contractors, and troubleshoot issues.

Relocation assistance is available. Requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, Tyson Level 8 training preferred, and experience with ammonia, refrigeration, and boilers. Supervisory duties and OSHA compliance are key. 401(k) and PTO provided.

• Education beyond high school with vocational training or college courses.
• 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
• Supervisory responsibilities and team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with ammonia, mechanical refrigeration, and high-pressure boiler systems preferred.
• Basic computer use for data entry and documentation.

Job Details:

SUMMARY

• planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment.
• Directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance personnel
• Working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment
• Troubleshooting and resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment.
• Maintaining relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented
• Instructing in the use of personal protective equipment; and implementing new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.
• Maintaining compliance with Process, Safety Management, Standards.
• Skill development of team members.
• High Pressure Boiler, Compressed Air System, Hot Water Generation, and HVAC systems management and maintenance
• Coordinating Team Member schedules handling time and attendance records holding monthly safety meetings and performing other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses.
• Completion of the Tyson Level 8 training in the MT or ERT program is preferred.
• Experience: 3 plus years experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Experience with Anhydrous Ammonia, Mechanical Refrigeration, and High-Pressure Boiler maintenance and management is preferred.
• Computer Skills: Elementary computer skills; for example checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.
• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
• Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
