Job summary

361 Services is seeking an experienced land professional to manage upstream land administration, leasing, title, and related activities in the oil and gas sector. You will coordinate with operators and landowners to secure and renew leasehold interests and ensure compliance.

You will negotiate, prepare, and review agreements, support due diligence, and oversee title curative efforts to enable drilling and development projects while maintaining rigorous documentation and timelines.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in upstream land administration, leasing, title, or land management.
• Experience negotiating agreements with mineral owners, operators, and third parties.
• Ability to review title opinions, identify curative requirements, and manage projects through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, prepare, and execute oil and gas leases, amendments, extensions, surface agreements, rights-of-way, and other land-related contracts.
• Manage leasehold assets to ensure timely renewals, maintenance, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate title review, curative efforts, and ownership verification to support drilling and development activities.
• Evaluate acquisition, divestiture, and trade opportunities, including supporting due diligence efforts.
• Partner with legal counsel on purchase and sale agreements, trade agreements, and other transactional documents.
• Interpret lease provisions and provide recommendations regarding operational and commercial impacts.
