Position: Senior Project Manager - Land Development

KCI Technologies is hiring a Senior Project Manager with experience in Land Development engineering to join our team in Tampa, FL, or Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing design projects with excellent communication skills.
• Providing detailed design for various land development projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, sediment and stormwater management, and utility design (sewer, water, etc.).
• Managing land use regulations and permitting, with experience in Florida preferred.
• Preparing technical proposals, assembling teams, and developing client relationships.
• Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
• Preparing permit applications and pursuing approvals.
• Ensuring project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Providing expert testimony at public meetings and hearings.
• Preparing contract documents for bidding, managing contracts, and billing.
• Monitoring construction project quality and progress.
• Utilizing computer skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Project is a plus.
• Holding a PE license is required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 9-14 years of professional experience.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening, background, and motor vehicle checks may be required.

Performance Expectations:

• Complete annual training and mentor staff.
• Develop client relationships and solicit feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, ISO standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage staff and project activities, budgets, and timelines.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and project documentation regularly.
• Coordinate with other practices and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope and budget.
