We are searching for a talented Project Manager to join our MedTech Surgery Team. This is a remote position based in the United States. You will work at the intersection of biology and technology to develop smarter, less invasive, more personalized surgical treatments, delivering solutions to healthcare professionals worldwide to treat conditions like obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Purpose

The Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Global Clinical Evaluation, will oversee project management activities related to medical and regulatory documentation, including Clinical Evaluations, Literature Reviews, and Periodic Safety Update Reports. The role involves process improvement initiatives to enhance agility and efficiency, ensuring real-time progress tracking and effective communication within teams and with senior leadership.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Leading end-to-end project management activities: developing project plans, dashboards, tracking metrics, risk management, resource planning, and communication strategies.
  • Supporting scientists, engineers, and medical professionals by obtaining documentation/data and defining milestones, prioritizing demands.
  • Optimizing processes within technical writing, medical writing, and safety reporting teams, aligning with procedures and guidelines.
  • Implementing process improvements across multiple portfolios to enhance team impact and efficacy.
  • Managing business cycle activities including SOWs, purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor management.
  • Collaborating with Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to ensure consistency and results.
  • Providing change management support for procedural and workflow updates.
  • Monitoring relevant metrics and providing visibility to enable corrective actions.
  • Assessing technological trends and industry practices to inform project management processes.
  • Communicating proactively with senior leadership on project status and expansion.
  • Facilitating regulatory submissions and inquiries with leadership.
  • Ensuring deliverables are traceable and accessible, supporting document creation and management.
  • Onboarding and coaching new project managers and coordinators, overseeing team adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or Process Excellence certification highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with regulatory documentation expertise.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Wrike, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical evaluation, literature reviews, and safety reporting is a plus.
