Markent Personnel in New York is seeking an experienced apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will research trends, create and update designs using Illustrator and Photoshop, and collaborate with Senior Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development.

The role requires 2+ years in children's or retail apparel, strong trend awareness, organization, and communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.
• Must be located in NYC.
• Position is onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
