Job summary

6 Degrees Search in New York City is seeking an experienced apparel designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will translate fashion trends into colorways, graphics, and presentations using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising and Product Development teams to develop concepts that meet brand guidelines and retailer needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus
• Must be located in NYC
• Position is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays
