Job summary

MDS Staffing in New York, NY, is seeking a design-focused Apparel Designer to support seasonal Big Girls Walmart licensed collections. You will research trends, create colorways, and present designs using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Collaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development to develop concepts that align with brand guidelines and retailer needs. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, deadline-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children's or retail apparel.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Licensed apparel experience is a plus.
• Must be located in NYC.
• Position is onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
