As a Sr. Java Developer supporting EPSoft on a remote basis, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of backend code authoring, event-driven architecture design, Kafka stream processing, and database optimization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing high-performance microservices utilizing Java 8+ and Java 17, building scalable APIs with Spring Boot, configuring Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams API for real-time messaging, managing Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases, troubleshooting distributed production anomalies, collaborating with enterprise product squads, and interacting directly with technical recruitment leads like Shashikumar Muddangula.
