Job summary

EPSoft is seeking a Sr. Java Developer for a premier remote contract engagement. You will own backend Java 8+/17 development, Spring Boot microservices orchestration, Kafka streaming pipelines, and database integration across Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL stores.

Expect high-throughput, resilient systems for enterprise clients. You will design high-performance microservices, build robust APIs, and collaborate with product squads and technical recruiters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of enterprise Java development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot microservices and Kafka streaming expertise.
• Experience with relational (Oracle/SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices in Java 8+/17.
• Build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Configure Kafka and Kafka Streams for real-time messaging.
• Manage Oracle, SQL Server, and NoSQL data stores.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
