Job summary

As a Java Spring – Backend Developer supporting VDart on an onsite contract basis across Berkeley Heights, NJ and Alpharetta, GA, you will take full operational, tactical, and analytical ownership of backend service development, REST and SOAP API integration, Oracle SQL database querying, and UNIX/Linux system administration. Your day-to-day responsibilities include authoring clean, maintainable code using Java and Spring Boot, streaming real-time data with Kafka, managing XML and JSON data payloads, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams utilizing JIRA and Confluence. Furthermore, you will manage application requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy robust enterprise Java and J2EE backend applications and RESTful microservices.
• Spearhead real-time data streaming and event-driven messaging architectures utilizing Apache Kafka across distributed cloud systems.
