Job Summary:

Supermicro is currently looking for a Sr. IT Governance Analyst who will be responsible for supporting IT risk management and compliance activities. This includes identifying IT risks through continuous monitoring, developing risk mitigation and controls optimization strategies, and tracking remediation of control gaps. The Sr. IT Governance Analyst will collaborate closely with IT and Information Security teams, as well as, various business and Internal/External Audit teams to ensure compliance is achieved in areas such as SOX, ISO27001, NIST, and COBIT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance on designing efficient and effective IT General Controls (ITGCs) based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the complete IT landscape that supports business operations.
  • Collaborate with process owners to develop policies and procedures that clearly communicate expectations and control requirements aligned with compliance frameworks.
  • Assess emerging IT and Information Security risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.
  • Perform continuous monitoring and communicate risk exposure or issues as needed for Management action.
  • Facilitate risk management and compliance activities between various teams to ensure open communication and alignment on action items and objectives.
  • Track open issues and gaps to support remediation efforts and timely closure of deficiencies.
  • Encourage a balanced risk and controls environment in IT that supports company objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT governance, compliance, or audit related roles.
  • Preferred experience working with SAP ERP.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations including SOX, ISO27001, NIST, and COBIT.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships in a cross-organizational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary Range

$140,000 - 175,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
