Responsibilities

1. Provide expert maintenance and troubleshooting for enterprise systems, ensuring optimal performance.
2. Manage system documentation, configurations, and backup procedures, implementing updates as necessary.
3. Participate in system component definition and implementation, including server and software upgrades.
4. Install and troubleshoot operating systems, ensuring robust system security and functionality.
5. Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to support database environments and modernize enterprise support.
6. Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical data.
7. Contribute to the development of future database visions and support strategies for open source technologies.
8. Ensure compliance controls are maintained to protect data integrity and security.

Skills

1. Proven experience in IT professional roles, with a focus on systems administration and database management.
2. Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking hardware, and software applications.
3. Experience with cloud environments, particularly in supporting Database Technologies DB2 LUW on RHEL.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to recommend effective solutions.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with SAP (ERP) systems and working in large system environments.
2. Familiarity with Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA.
3. Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and documentation.
4. Knowledge of compliance and security standards, including PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
