• Lead the design and development of highly scalable and performant Java Spring Boot APIs.
• Ensure that APIs are built following best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions that are resilient, secure, and scalable.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and technical workshops to raise the technical bar across the team.
• Ensure proper architectural governance, code quality, and continuous improvement within the development team.
• Lead initiatives to optimize the performance and scalability of existing APIs and systems.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and business teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, architectural decisions, and technical challenges.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot frameworks.• Proven experience in designing, building, and managing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and other Spring frameworks.
• Experience in architecting and implementing enterprise-level solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of API design principles, security best practices, and versioning strategies.
• Experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and ensuring code quality and best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $128513 to $210000 /yearly. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
