eSentio Technologies is seeking a Sr. IG Consultant to join our US-based remote team, collaborating with top law firms on information governance programs. This role emphasizes records management, retention, and lifecycle governance across complex environments.

You will advise clients, support pre-sales, design IG solutions using Microsoft Purview, and help drive thought leadership while growing our practice. Remote work with travel as needed.

Formación

• 3–5+ years IG experience in-house at a law firm (records, IG or similar role) and/or as a consultant serving law firms.
• Strong business process analysis skills, understanding how IG, records and risk work for law firms, and how law firms are structured and work culturally.
• Ability to support pre-sales activities. Understands what matters at the operational level of firms, how to speak in the client voice, and how to support the sales process.
• Proven track record of delivering IG projects successfully at a current firm, or as a consultant.
• Experience with billing hours, tracking time, and managing a billable hour quota is a plus.
• IG certifications such as IGP, CRM, or Microsoft Purview are preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with legal records management systems such as FileTrail, iCompli, FIT, or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
• Based in the US.

• Build relationships with law firm IG, records and risk professionals to support BD.
• Obtain certifications for IG technologies and credentials such as IGP or CRM.

Are you an Information Governance professional with 3-5+ years of experience who's interested in consulting to the most prestigious law firms, working on the industry's most complex and interesting IG projects? This position will play a key role in the growth of our IG (Information Governance) practice.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. IG Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded IG generalist with experience in records management, retention, and information lifecycle management with large US law firms. We are looking for someone who understands IG policies, procedures and workflows, and wants to grow by helping deliver IG projects across a range of solutions. You will join a team of IG experts, each with our own specialties, and a shared focus on continual learning and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Consult with law firms on Information Governance policies, procedures and workflows, including records management, retention schedules, matter mobility, defensible disposition and information lifecycle management.
• Support the business development and sales process with your IG knowledge, including client discovery sessions and solution demonstrations.
• Help implement IG solutions such as records management, document management governance and Microsoft 365/Purview data lifecycle features, in conjunction with eSentio technical team members.
• Assess and help remediate unstructured data environments, including cleaning up legacy file shares, reducing redundant, obsolete and trivial content, and organizing information to support migration, retention and defensible disposition.
• Contribute to thought leadership content on Information Governance topics.
• Stay current on IG best practices, regulations and technology vendor product changes and roadmaps, and support clients during projects.
• Assist in the preparation of IG proposals, project implementation plans and presentations prior to sale.
• Ensure client satisfaction with assigned projects, in conjunction with the project management team and leadership.
• Build relationships with law firm IG, records and risk professionals to support the business development process.
• Obtain certifications for relevant IG technologies and credentials such as IGP or CRM.

What You Bring:
