Job Title: Sr. Human Resources Specialist at CGS Federal (Contact Government Services)

Join our team to apply for the Sr. Human Resources Specialist role at CGS Federal (Contact Government Services). This position is based in Washington, D.C., and involves managing daily HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, policy enforcement, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, certifications, and assessments.
  2. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  3. Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, performance management, safety, and training.
  4. Handle employment inquiries and escalate sensitive issues appropriately.
  5. Maintain compliance with employment laws and update policies accordingly.
  6. Stay informed on HR trends, legal changes, and technology advancements.
  7. Process payroll information, including wages, deductions, and tax deposits.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities

Salary Range: $49,500 - $71,500 annually
