Stanford Engineering's School of Engineering is seeking a Sr. HR & Operations Administrator to join our HR team. You will provide advanced HR support, partner with employees, managers, and senior partners, and help interpret policies and ensure compliance with university and state laws.
The role requires data-savvy project management and the ability to drive process improvements using tools like Smartsheet and Google Drive; hybrid work with campus presence is required.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week at the Stanford main campus, subject to operational needs. The School of Engineering (SoE), Office of the Dean, is looking for a Sr. Human Resources & Operations Administrator to join our human resources team. The Sr. HR & Operations Administrator will provide advanced HR support across a wide range of functions, acting as a trusted partner to employees, managers, Sr. HR Business Partners, and leadership. The Sr. HR & Operations Administrator will play a key role in interpreting policies, enhancing HR processes, leveraging data for decision-making, and ensuring compliance with University and School of Engineering policies as well as compliance with federal and state employment laws.
You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside other Sr. HR Business Partners and Sr. HR Administrators, reporting directly to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner. The work at Stanford SoE is dynamic and fast paced with many opportunities to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and excellent detail orientation. In addition, the candidate should be highly collaborative, data-savvy, and comfortable managing projects and workflows using tools such as Smartsheet.
The expected pay range for this position is $33.54 to $38.96 per hour.
