Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and at least 5 years of HR experience, or an Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least 8 years of HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of recruiting, benefits administration, and managing confidential information and documents.
Preferred Qualifications:

Two to four years of experience in the public sector or higher education environment

Summary of Duties:

The Human Resources Generalist supports key HR functions including recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, performance management, data reporting, and daily administrative operations. This role helps coordinate hiring and onboarding processes, administers employee benefits, maintains HR systems, and records, and assists with performance review tracking. The position ensures efficient HR operations and provides responsive support to employees and managers.

Location: Newark

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
This position will have an on-campus presence.
