Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, seeks a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to partner with business leaders on HR practices including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

You will support compliance and HR best practices, analyze exit data, and guide managers on policy interpretation. Occasional travel is required; a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in HR/related field.
• 4-6 years of HR experience or equivalent.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR solutions to help departments meet business initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring, communicating, and interpreting HR requirements and regulations.
• Monitor administration of compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Give direction on complex and controversial issues.

• Support larger-scale HR projects, events, and programs.
• Present summaries to management on current trends.
• Advise managers and employees on policies and workplace issues.
• Occasional travel as required.

Job Objective:

The Sr Human Resources Generalist is a high performing contributor that uses their in-depth knowledge to serve as a consultant to business partners on human resource practices and policies. This role offers guidance and support in functional areas including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Provide a variety of human resources solutions to help departments meet business initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring, communicating, and interpreting applicable HR federal, state, and company requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Monitor the administration of the companys diverse compensation programs that includes both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Give direction and advice on complex and controversial issues.
• Analyze data from exit interviews.
• Help with the implementation of larger-scale HR projects, events, and programs.
• Present summary reports to management on current trends.
• Provide direction to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, career development, and workplace issues.
• Advises managers on the interpretation of employment law.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 4-6 years of job specific experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• HR certification preferred.
