Job summary

Integra Mission Critical in Dalton, GA is seeking a Senior Safety Professional to lead and implement comprehensive safety programs across operations. You will guide complex deliverables, mentor junior staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, apply controls, and drive a culture of safety excellence while conducting inspections and investigations. CSP/CHST and OSHA 30/First Aid-CPR are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field required.
  • Masters degree or advanced safety management preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive SHE experience with at least 3 years in multi-site or regional capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of safety programs in manufacturing, construction, utilities or services.
  • Proven experience in training, audits, root cause analysis and hazard control implementation.
  • PSM experience preferred; CSP and CHST required; OHST preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certification required; First Aid/CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation, review, and implementation of safety plans, procedures, and deliverables.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and mentorship to junior safety professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead safety reviews related to operational risk and complex processes.
  • Plan and deliver targeted training on safety practices and hazard mitigation.
  • Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, root cause analyses, and incident investigations.

The Opportunity

The Senior Safety Professional is responsible for leading the development implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs across operational environments This role provides expert level guidance in the review of complex safety deliverables supports regulatory compliance and mentors junior safety staff The Senior Safety Professional plays a critical role in conducting safety assessments facilitating training programs and overseeing field inspections and incident investigations The position collaborates with cross functional teams to proactively identify risks implement controls and promote a culture of safety excellence

What you will do

Lead the creation review and implementation of safety plans procedures and technical deliverablesProvide subject matter expertise and mentorship to junior safety professionalsEnsure compliance with OSHA EPA and other applicable regulatory standardsParticipate in and lead high level safety reviews including those related to operational risk and complex processesPlan and deliver targeted training on safety practices regulatory updates and hazard mitigationConduct and document site inspections hazard assessments and root cause analyses for incidentsIdentify trends and recommend improvements to reduce risks and enhance safety performanceCollaborate with project teams engineering operations and leadership to integrate safety into all phases of workStay current with industry best practices regulatory changes and emerging technologies in safety management

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Industrial Engineering or related field required
  • Masters degree or advanced safetymanagement education preferred
  • Minimum 710 years of progressive SHE experiences with at least 3 years in a multi site or regional management capacity
  • Strong knowledge of safety programs in industries such as manufacturing construction utilities or services
  • Proven experience in training audits root cause analysis and hazard control implementation
  • Experience implementing and supporting Process Safety Management PSM preferred Manufacturing Roles
  • Certified Safety Professional CSP Required
  • Construction Health & Safety Technician CHST Required
  • Occupational Health & Safety Technician OHST Required Manufacturing and Service Roles only
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certification Required
  • First AidCPR Certification Required
  • Additional certifications such as ASP CESCP or CIH a plus
