Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to drive the development, implementation and maintenance of our HRIS platforms with emphasis on Workday. You will partner with HR, Payroll and IT to ensure data integrity, configure modules, and deliver analytics to leadership.

The role focuses on HCM maintenance, optimization and end-user training, supporting reporting needs and system enhancements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Located in San Diego with full-time work on-site.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent with 4+ years HCM/HRIS experience.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Workday modules (core HR, payroll, benefits).
• Strong reporting skills to deliver HR analytics and metrics.
• Ability to partner with HR, IT, and Payroll to implement solutions.

(*\*in collaboration with AbbVie*)## About the Role:Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff. Works with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Often works with payroll and its personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions. May serve as HR department liaison to MIS/IT function.\_## Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):* HCM Maintenance + Administers and ensures the overall integrity and accuracy of the data in Workday in support of the organizations data management and reporting needs + Develops procedures for updating, troubleshooting, validating, and correcting employee records or other related HR data in Workday* HCM Optimization + Serves as a liaison between Human Resources and internal Payroll and Information Technology (IT) departments as well as external technical support vendor teams to provide systems support and analysis to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR and users of the HCM system throughout the organization + Provides support for HCM systems including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, addressing unexpected results or process flaws, performing scheduled activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements, and planning for new applications and functionality to the system + Gathers requirements, designs, configures, tests, and deploys Workday functionality + Works with Human Resources team and vendors to identify, evaluate and/or design Workday system specifications* Training and Support + Provides assistance to HR users with ad hoc reporting tools + Serves as first contact to employee inquiries regarding Workday + Prepares end-user documentation or training materials as needed* Analytics + Collects data and generates a variety of reports for HR Leadership to reflect key HR-related metrics and analytics + Interprets reports which clearly and concisely show key workforce trends and problem areas. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
